Fire is a rapid oxidation process that provides an exothermic chemical reaction causing smoke, heat and fire damage making it difficult to locate the origin.  Whether it is a residential or commercial structure, wildland, vehicle, vessel or personal property fire, we will discover the ignition source that caused the fire and rule out all other ignition sources.

Appliance(s), equipment, electrical wiring and fire debris found near fire origin areas must be examined to determine a possible fire cause.  Proper identification and information must be obtained from these items to determine if product failure occurred or manufactured defect.

Interviewing is an art form, and we can assist our clients in obtaining the truth.  Through the use of Reading Body Language, we are able to identify half-truths and missing details. Examining written statement can reveal lies and missing information of events when analyzing a witness or suspects statement.

Evidence examination is an important part of all civil ligation fire investigations.  We are experts in leading evidence examinations to find the fire cause or rule out a cause by examining failure analysis.  As your case management coordinator, we schedule a joint evidence examination using evidence protocols to maintain a safe environment.

Photographs or videos from a fire scene investigation or fire code incident can tell a story of What, Where, When, and sometimes How the incident progressed.  Photos can show how smoke, heat, and fire traveled through the structure and what stages the fire advanced through.

Analyzing documents, written statements and deposition transcripts can determine the timeline of a fire, how victims played a role in the incident and if someone is not telling the truth.
